2021 World Sporting Event Calendar

Here is a list of the major sporting events for the year 2021. Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, many major sporting events were canceled or postponed, and changes to this listing happened regularly. Also note that not every sporting event can be listed here, though we have tried to include all the big sporting events of the major sports, mostly the international senior competitions.

Major events for this calendar year included the Tokyo Summer Olympics and Paralympics, the Euro 2020 Football tournament, America's Cup sailing, Ryder Cup, as well as the usual annual events. See a summary of the world of sport for 2021 including results.
