Sports at the 1996 Olympic Games

The 1996 Olympic games were held in Atlanta, USA. There were 26 sports on the program, with just softball added to the list of sports since the last Olympic Games. Within the sport of cycling, mountain biking was included for the first time. Within the sport of volleyball, beach volleyball was played for the first time.
