Tom Brady's NFL Combine Lowlights

February 13th, 2017 · No Comments · Agility, Football (Gridiron), Speed

Tom Brady, one of the greatest NFL quarterbacks ever, has done some great things in his career, but his performances at the 2000 pre-draft combine is not one of them. His poor effort affected his chances. He was picked 199 overall in the draft, and he was the 7th quarterback to be picked. The NFL won’t let me show the video of his performance, but here is someone else trying to match his scores.

His results at the combine:
40 Yard Dash: 5.28s
20 Yard Dash: 2.94s
10 Yard Dash: 1.70s
Bench Press: –
Vertical Leap: 24.5 inches
Broad Jump: 99 inches
20 Yd Shuttle: 4.38s
Three Cone Drill: 7.20s
60 Yd Shuttle: –
Wonderlic: 33

See a 240-pound fullback completes the Illinois Agility Drill in the excellent time of 13.25 seconds. By the amount of sweat on him, it is obviously at the end of a workout, which makes it even more impressive.

Backyard Illinois Agility Test

January 3rd, 2010 · No Comments · Agility

Here a guy named Ryan puts himself through the commonly used Illinois Agility fitness test. He made it around in 18.05 seconds – where 16-18 seconds is an average score. I think that his score was limited because of the uneven surface, and the place that the course was set up not allowing for him to run through at the end limited his time.
