Yo-Yo Intermittent Endurance Test - Levels
The Yo-Yo Intermittent Endurance Test is a test of the ability to undertake intermittent exercise. The participants in this test have a short active break of 5 seconds (2.5 meters) after each 40m (2 x 20 m runs) of increasing speed (see a full description of the Yo-Yo Intermittent Test procedure). See also the levels for the Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery Test, which has different speeds and a longer recovery (10 seconds) between 40m shuttles. A Yo-Yo test recording can be replicated using the Team BeepTest Software.
