Chester Step Test
The Chester Step Test is a sub-maximal stepping test of aerobic fitness. It is a variation of a stepping type fitness tests (see other step tests), and is a test commonly used in the UK.

- Chester Step (15cm/6inch) - suitable for those over 40 years of age who take little or no regular physical exercise and for those over-40's who are moderately overweight.
- Chester Step (20cm/8inch) - suitable for those under 40 years of age who take little or no regular physical exercise and for those under-40's who are moderately overweight.
- Chester Step (25cm/10inch) - suitable for those over 40 years of age who take regular physical exercise and are used to moderately vigorous exertion.
- Chester Step (30cm/12inch) - suitable for those under 40 years of age who take regular physical exercise and are used to moderately vigorous exertion.
- Chester Step Test Kit (15cm, 20cm, 25cm or 30cm) - the kit includes a step of specified height – choose from 30cm, 25cm, 20cm or 15cm, a Polar FT1 heart rate watch with chest strap, NEW Chester Test Software USB Stick* with integrated audio, Chester Test Resource Manual, and data sheets.
