England at the World Cup
England has participated in every Rugby World Cup since the first in 1987. England won their first World Cup in 2003, and were runner's up in 1991, 2007 and 2019. The UK hosted the World Cup in 1991.

- England's win in 2003 made them the first non-southern hemisphere country to win the world cup (more firsts).
- In 2003, the English team captain was Martin Johnson, with Clive Woodward as coach.
