The 2007 Rugby World Cup was held in France in September and October in 2007. All matches were held in France except for three pool matches hosted in Scotland, Ireland and Wales, and a quarter final was also played in Wales.
The tournament was held over 44 days. The kickoff was on September 7, with a game between France and Agentina. The final was played in 'Stade de France' on October 20, 2007, between South Africa and England. In the final match, South Africa defeated England 15-6 to claim their second Rugby World Cup title.
