World Alternative Games

The World Alternative Games was first held in 2012, at the home of the World Bog Snorkeling championships in Llanwrtyd Wells, in Powys, Wales. It is the ultimate unusual sports event, not a normal sport in sight. The event was organized as an alternative to London hosting the Olympic Games the same year, and is expected to be organized every two years - the next one was scheduled for August 2014. The 2012 event consisted of about 35 different events, including:
