In addition to the annual Ballon d'Or award for the best football player of the year, there have been many other awards given by France Football. One such award was the Ballon d'Or Dream Team published in 2020, created in place of the main Ballon d'Or ceremony which was canceled in 2020.
The Ballon d'Or Dream Team is a special all-time football team, featuring the best players in history. There were 10 players nominated per position. The final team composition was selected based on responses of an Internet poll of fans, published on 14 December 2020 (though many sources online say incorrectly that the selection was based on vote of world journalists).
The team is set up in a 3-4-3 formation and includes legendary players across different eras. Imagine a team lineup including Messi, Pele, Diego Maradona, Cristiano Ronaldo. It's a team that brings together the greatest talents football has ever seen.
