The Sydney Cricket Ground is located in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, next to the Sydney Football Stadium. The SCG was established by the NSW Cricket Association on the former 1852 Garrison Ground behind Victoria Barracks in Paddington.

The current capacity of Sydney Cricket Ground is 48,000.
