The UEFA Champions League is an annual football club competition played between the European national league champions and other top clubs from Europe. For the 1992-1993 season and from then on, the tournament was named the UEFA Champions League (previously it was the European Cup).
The final of the 1993 Champions League was played at Olympiastadion, Munich, Germany on May 26, 1993. The match was won by Marseille, France. It was the first time a French team had won the tournament.
Israel and the Faroe Islands participated for the first time.
