Olympic Boxing Demonstration Sport

There may have been boxing demonstration events held at the Olympic Games, though the evidence is not clear.

At the first modern Olympic Games in 1896, according to the 1896 official Olympic Games report, there was a demonstration of many and various sports, and although boxing was not explicitly listed it is believed to have been one of those sports.

There are also references online to women's boxing first appearing at the Olympic Games as a demonstration sport in 1904, though no clear evidence of this has been seen. Women's boxing was added to the official program in 2012.

In 1924, there was a demonstration of French Kickboxing (Savate).
