Rose Bowl Stadium is located in Pasadena California, 10 miles northeast of downtown Los Angeles. The stadium opened in October 1922, and has a current capacity of 92,542. The stadium is most well known as the host of the annual Rose Bowl Game, held annually every New Year's Day since 1916, from which it gets its name. It has also hosted five Super Bowl Games, in 1977, 1980, 1983, 1987 and 1993.
