The women's football team from Panama made their first appearance at the FIFA Women's World Cup in 2023. Drawn into Group F alongside France, Brazil, and Jamaica, Panama were beaten in all three of their group games and finished 31st out of the 32 teams. However, they scored three goals in a spirited final match against France, having failed to score in their first two games.
