Curacao have qualified for the World Cup once, in 2026, which was their first ever appearance at the finals. They did not progress past the group stage.

2026

Curacao qualified for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the first time the Caribbean island had ever reached the finals. With a population of only around 156,000, they became the smallest nation by population ever to qualify for a World Cup. They sealed their place on 18 November 2025 with a goalless draw away to Jamaica, topping their CONCACAF qualifying group under coach Dick Advocaat.

At the finals they were drawn into Group E alongside Germany, Ecuador, and Ivory Coast. Curacao held Ecuador to a goalless draw but lost their other two matches and finished bottom of the group. Their debut ended without a win, though the point against Ecuador was a memorable result for the small nation.
