Georgia at the Euros
Georgia's men's national football team “the Crusaders” has qualified for the UEFA European Championship for the first time in 2024, after securing their place with a win against Greece in the UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying play-off final.
In the group stage with Portugal, Türkiye and Czechia, Georgia's only victory was a big upset 2–0 victory against Portugal, which was enough to gain entry to the round of 16 in their first international tournament appearance. Georgia subsequently lost to Spain in their Round of 16 match.
