The UEFA Champions League is an annual football club competition played between the European national league champions and other top clubs from Europe.

The final of the 2005 Champions League was played at Atatürk Olympic Stadium, Istanbul, Turkey on May 25, 2005. The match was played between Liverpool, and AC Milan. By halftime, Liverpool was behind by three goals, and AC Milan had the upper hand. In fact, many people expected that AC Milan would take the win. However, Liverpool came back swinging and managed to score three goals in only six minutes, leaving fans shocked. And when the penalty stage came around, Liverpool won 3-2, much to the surprise of anyone who had given up on the team.
