Uganda achieved their first ever T20 World Cup win against Papua New Guinea, in their second match at the 2024 tournament.

- Uganda's Frank Nsubuga was 43 years and 283 days when he made his T20 debut at the 2024 tournament. Only one player has been older on debut, Ryan Campbell playing for Hong Kong.
