Indonesia at the World Cup

Indonesia was the first Asian country to appear in the World Cup finals, competing as the Dutch East Indies in 1938.

For the 2018 tournament, Indonesia were banned before playing a single qualifying match, as punishment for government interference in the Football Association of Indonesia.
