Portugal at the Winter Olympics

Portugal’s debut at the Winter Olympics materialized in Oslo, Norway in 1952. The nation participated at the Winter Games from then on but missed the 1956 to 1984, 1992 and 2002 editions.

The Iberian nation has won over 30 Summer Games medals, but hasn’t won a medal yet at the Winter Games.

Since joining the Winter Games in 1952 the nation has sent a total 13 athletes including the two athletes that competed in four events in alpine skiing at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games in Russia.
