2031 Rugby World Cup
The 2031 Rugby World Cup, the 12th to be held, will be contested in the USA. It will be the first time the event has been held in the USA (though the women's World Cup was played in Canada in 2006).
The tournament is expected to be held in September and October 2031, but this may change as some planned games may clash with the NFL.
The organizers are considering expanding the tournament to 24 teams, and adding an additional knockout stage.
The 2033 Women's World Cup will also be held in the USA.
