Kenya at the World Cup
Kenya's has participated at five cricket world cups, from 1996 to 2011. Also, at the first Cricket World Cup in England 1975, a team from East Africa competed, which comprised of players from Kenya, as well as Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.
Trivia
- Kenya's first World Cup match was played on Feb 18, 1996 against India at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack. In that match India beat Kenya by 7 Wickets.
- One of Kenya's greatest performances at the World Cup was getting through to the semifinals in 2003.
