7 Wonders Project

We have discused the Wonders of the Sporting World, which are all about stadiums and venues, although the experience of being there to watch sport in these stadiums are what makes it special. There is a need for a Top-7 Wonders of the Sporting World - Events List.

In 2010 an Australian furniture company held a competition which sent winners to 'Sporting Wonders of the World'. The winners had a choice of the Super Bowl, French Open, Barcelona Grand Prix and the Daytona 500. I thought that these would not be my top choices of wonders, so I have created this list in the hope of whittling it down to a top 7 wonders.

Our Nominations

Below is a long list of wonderful sporting events - in alphabetical order. Do you have any suggestions of 'Must See Sporting Events' that you think should be listed here - any comments about some of these events below that do not deserve to be on the list? Please let me know.
