Wisden 100 Best Performances in Cricket

We are compiling a list of the greatest athletes from the sport of cricket, which will then be voted on and the winner placed on the shortlist of the all time greatest athlete ever (all sports). Is the greatest ever cricketer is the one of the top of the Wisden 100 Best Performances List? We will look at only Test cricket results as other forms of the game have only recently become popular and it would not be fair to compare cricketers of the past with player results in one day cricket matches.

List of All-Time Great Players

In 2001 and 2002, Wisden released lists of the top 100 test and one-day performances. From that rating system, they compiled these all-time lists of the greatest players. The ratings were calculated by scoring each individual batting and bowling performance in various criteria, including taking into account the strength of the opposition players, the quality of the pitch, the result of the match, and the player's contribution to this result.
