Berlin Olympic Stadium (Olympiastadion)

The Olympic Stadium is located in Berlin, Germany. This stadium was built for the 1936 Olympic Games, and renovated prior to the 2006 FIFA World Cup at a cost of $380 million. The capacity of the ground is now 66,021 and the population of the city 3.39 million.

Events at the Olympic Stadium

The Olympic Games were held here in 1936. The stadium was a venue for the 1974 FIFA World Cup. This stadium was also one of the 12 stadiums of the 2006 FIFA World Cup. The World Cup Final was played here on the 9th July 2006.
