What Disqualifies a Brand Outright
Three things remove a brand regardless of its score.

Five pounds is the entry point at DAZN Bet, for a Trustly deposit and a Trustly withdrawal alike, which is the lowest bar of any brand on our list still taking the method. The licence sits with DZBT Limited, UKGC account 48756, checked September 2026, with no regulatory action on the register.
The deposit methods table calls Trustly mostly instant, while the crediting FAQ a couple of clicks away gives up to one business day for the same method. Ours credited in 2 minutes on Friday 4 September, so the optimistic entry was the accurate one.

Two brands out of four accept Trustly. Working out what an offer is really worth is the same exercise as turning data into decisions: the number on the banner is rarely the number that matters.
Verifying Your Identity Before Your First Trustly Deposit
A UKGC licensed casino must confirm your age before it can accept a first deposit, and your identity before you place a bet. Two separate rules, two different moments, and no payment method moves either of them. Trustly funds an account already opened and checked.
What UKGC Verification Actually Requires
Social responsibility code provision 3.2.11 requires a licensee to verify a customer’s age before they can deposit any funds, in force since 7 May 2019. Licence condition 17.1.1 sets the second gate, requiring name, address and date of birth before the customer is permitted to gamble.
The same condition stops an operator holding documents back until you cash out. It cannot demand at withdrawal what it could reasonably have asked earlier, which matters if a payout stalls on a document request you never had the chance to satisfy.
Why Pay N Play Does Not Apply Here
Pay N Play was built for markets where the deposit itself opens the account and the bank carries identity data across with it. The UK runs the other way, because the age check must clear before a deposit is accepted, so an account always exists first.
Operators say so themselves. A UK licensee’s deposit page will state that you must register before you can deposit, which is UK law working as intended.
What We Measured at Each Brand
SpinYoo cleared our age check electronically in a few minutes. DAZN Bet registered us in three minutes and cleared age in roughly five, but wanted photographic ID and proof of address first. Both gates closed before either took a deposit.
How a Trustly Deposit and Withdrawal Actually Works
Trustly moves money straight between your bank account and the casino, with no card number typed in and no wallet to top up first. You pick your bank, approve the payment inside your own banking app, and the casino credits your balance. Payouts travel the same road in reverse, and the receiving account has to be in your name.

Linking Your Bank Account
There is no Trustly account to register and nothing to fund in advance. You choose your bank from a list at the cashier and authenticate with the bank itself, which is why Trustly never sees or stores your banking credentials.
In the UK this runs through Trustly UK Limited, an authorised payment institution on the Financial Conduct Authority register under reference number 1005703 since March 2024, checked September 2026.
Making a Deposit
Approval and crediting usually happen while the confirmation screen is still open. DAZN Bet sets its Trustly minimum at £5 and caps every account at £500 of deposits a day, while SpinYoo sets a £10 Trustly minimum at the cashier.
The figures in the table above are our own round trips rather than advertised ranges. Where an operator quotes a window and our stopwatch disagrees, the measurement is what we publish.
Getting a Withdrawal Back Out
Money returns to the account it came from, and that account must be held in your own name. DAZN Bet says so directly, warning that adding a third party payment method can result in your account being frozen, and it only opens Trustly as a payout route once you have deposited with it.
LuckyMate applies the same closed loop from the other side, returning funds to the original source of deposit and asking for a bank statement where an alternative method is used. SpinYoo processes Trustly withdrawals subject to KYC once verification is complete.
Bonuses at Trustly Casinos
Neither brand here shuts Trustly out of its welcome bonus, which is not something you can assume of trustly casinos in this market. We deposited £20 with Trustly at both and both offers credited. The catch is not the payment method at all, it is the minimum each offer demands and what the wagering asks of you afterwards.
Offers That Exclude Trustly
We went looking for a payment method exclusion across the offer documents and found none at either of the trustly casino sites we tested. That is the honest answer and a useful one, because plenty of UK operators do bar wallets and bank rails from qualifying deposits, usually in a clause you only meet after depositing.

Wagering Requirements Under the 10x Cap
Since 19 January 2026 a UK casino bonus cannot carry wagering requirements above 10x, and no promotion may require you to gamble on two different product types. Both trustly casino bonus offers sit inside those rules. The arithmetic underneath still decides whether either is worth taking, so here it is with the £20 we actually deposited.
- SpinYoo applies 10x wagering requirements to the bonus amount, and only bonus funds count.
- Deposit £20, receive the matched bonus, and the bonus must be staked 10x before anything converts.

How to Check the Terms Before You Deposit
An offer’s own terms and the site’s general promotional terms are two different documents. Read the short terms attached to the offer first, then check the six things below before any money moves, because every one of them is decided before you deposit rather than after.

- Check the maximum bonus bet, which sets how many bets clearing will take.
- Check the expiry window before you opt in.

Trustly Compared With Cards, Wallets and Open Banking
Trustly’s advantage over other payment methods is narrower than the marketing suggests, and it is barely about the deposit, where almost everything is instant. It shows up on the way out. One caveat first, from the FCA register: the FSCS will not compensate you if Trustly UK Limited fails, although the Financial Ombudsman can consider complaints. Cards are the default for most UK players, and how they behave for withdrawals varies by brand.

- Trustly moved money both ways at both brands we tested, with no fee from either casino.
