Stefan Peric is a Sports Content Writer at Topend Sports who has worked in iGaming and sports betting content since 2019, starting out in freelance writing before moving into more structured editorial work. Over those years he has concentrated on sportsbook reviews, betting guides and match-prediction content, always with a strong emphasis on clarity and usability for the reader. His academic background in law has proved especially valuable for breaking down complex topics such as bonus terms, promotional conditions and regulatory frameworks, letting him translate technical or legal language into straightforward, practical explanations that readers can actually use.
At Topend Sports his approach is centred on accuracy, transparency and consistency. He prioritises fact-checking across everything he writes, especially around odds, operator claims and regulatory details, to make sure each piece aligns with the relevant jurisdiction, and he keeps a balanced editorial tone that helps readers make informed decisions without unnecessary hype. What shapes his perspective is the combination of hands-on writing experience and a structured understanding of compliance, which lets him produce content that is engaging and responsible in equal measure. Above all, he aims to keep every guide and review useful in real betting contexts, not just informative in theory.

The One Check I Never Skip
Treat every sportsbook as a long-term service, not a one-time promotion. Instead of chasing the biggest welcome bonus, weigh consistency in odds, withdrawal reliability and transparency of terms. Always read the full bonus conditions before depositing, especially wagering requirements and time limits; they decide the real value far more than the headline number. A book that’s slightly less generous but more reliable will almost always give you a better experience over time.
Five Minutes With Stefan
What got you into iGaming content?
I came into iGaming through general sports writing, where betting topics were naturally part of the editorial landscape. Over time I got more interested in the analytical side, how odds are structured and how different jurisdictions regulate operators. My legal background pushed me further into the niche, since I was already comfortable taking dense, technical material and making it accessible. What began as freelance writing turned into a focused specialisation in sportsbook and betting content, where I could combine sports knowledge, analytical thinking and compliance awareness in one role.
Which market is hardest to review honestly, and why?
The US, mainly because of its fragmented regulatory structure across states. Each state has its own licensing rules, operator restrictions and market availability, so it’s hard to apply a single consistent framework. Promotional competition is intense, too, which leads to aggressive marketing that can obscure the real user conditions. And the pace of change is relentless, operators update terms, bonuses and even product offerings constantly, which means a review needs continuous monitoring to stay accurate rather than going stale soon after it’s published.
How do you switch off away from sports betting?
I’m a football fan first, with a real soft spot for tactical analysis and the sports-data trends behind it, working out why a system clicks or breaks down. That carries into how I bet, too: football markets and NBA matchups are where I spend most of my time. Watching and analysing the game is genuinely how I unwind, and it keeps me close to the form and numbers that feed straight back into what I write.
