Holland (The Netherlands) at the World Cup

Holland, also known as the Netherlands, have taken part in the World Cup on nine occasions, the last time in 2014. Their heyday was without doubt the 1970s - in 1974 and 1978 the Dutch reached the FIFA World Cup final. They again reached the final in 2010, but a win has eluded them. In 2010 they lost 0-1 in the Final against Spain.

The Dutch hold the record for playing the most World Cup finals without ever winning the tournament (3 times). In 2014 The Netherlands finished 3rd. They did not qualify in 2018
