2017 World Swimming Championships
The Mexican city of Guadalajara was awarded the 2017 World Swimming Championships in 2011. It will be the 17th FINA World Championships. However, Guadalajara withdrew and the event was given to Budapest Hungary, who had earlier been awarded the 2021 event.
