Malta at the Winter Olympics

Malta first attended the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia in 2014. The nation has also appeared in 15 editions of the Summer Olympics.

French-born Élise Pellegrin became the first ever Maltese Winter Olympian when she competed in women’s giant slalom and women’s slalom alpine skiing in 2014. She will again be the sole Maltese representative at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics.
