2024 Copa América in USA

The Copa América is a men's football tournament contested among national teams from South America. The 48th Copa América is being held in the USA from June 20 until July 14, 2024.

2024's Copa America was supposed to be hosted by Ecuador. However, the country declined hosting the tournament in November 2022 when organizers said it wouldn't be possible to host the competition. CONMEBOL then chose to give the tournament to the USA. This is the second time the USA has hosted the event, having hosted the Copa América Centenario in 2016.

The tournament includes sixteen teams, all ten nations of CONMEBOL, plus six qualifying nations from CONCACAF. Argentina are the defending champions.

CONMEBOL: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela

CONCACAF: Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, United States, Canada, Costa Rica

The opening match on June 20 was held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. The final will be played on July 14, 2024 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
