The Presidents Cup is a match play tournament between a team representing the United States and an International Team representing the rest of the world (minus Europe). The event has been held biennially since 1994, with the USA team dominating the results – they now lead the series 14–1 with one tie, the International Team's only win coming in 1998. The 2026 match at Medinah Country Club produced the most dramatic finish in the history of the event. The International Team led 10½–7½ going into the final day, but the United States won the Sunday singles 9½–2½ – the largest singles margin ever recorded at the Presidents Cup – to take the trophy 17–13. It was their eleventh straight win.
