Diving at the Asian Games
Diving has been on the Asian Games program since the first event in 1951. The medal shave been dominated in recent times by Chinese divers. In the early years of diving at the Asian Games, Japanese divers were more successful.
From 1951 until 1986, the diving events were the 3 m springboard and 10m platform for men and women. Synchronized diving and 1m springboard events have been added since then.
