Ireland at the World Cup
Ireland competed at the Cricket World Cup for the first time in 2007 in the West Indies, and then again in 2011. Despite being granted Test playing status in 2018, Ireland failed to qualify for the 2019 World Cup, thereby missing the tournament for the first time since 2007.
- Some matches of the 1999 World Cup, which was held mainly in England, were also held in Ireland.
- The 2007 Irish squad had three Australians and a South African in the lineup.
