Mountain biking is a grueling cross country cycling event, a discipline as part of the cycling at the Commonwealth Games. Mountain Biking is the most recent addition to the Commonwealth Games Cycling program. It first appeared on the Commonwealth Games program in 2002, then again in 2006 and 2014 onwards. There are two gold medals on offer - individual events for men and women.
