Venues for the 2026 Glasgow Commonwealth Games
After Victoria (Australia) withdrew as host in 2023, Glasgow stepped in to stage a smaller, cost-conscious 2026 Commonwealth Games. The Games were held from 23 July to 2 August 2026 across just four existing venues, all within a few miles of the city centre. No new venues were built, with organisers reusing facilities from the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and other established arenas.
