Norfolk Island is an external territory of Australia and lies in the South Pacific and about 1676kms east of Sydney. Norfolk Island made their debut at the Edinburgh Games of 1986.

Norfolk Island at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games

Norfolk Island won a single bronze medal at Glasgow 2026, the first Commonwealth Games staged with a reduced program of just 10 sports, to finish in a tie for thirty-sixth on the medal table.

The medal, only the third in Norfolk Island's Commonwealth Games history came from lawn bowler Shae Wilson in the women's singles. The 27-year-old defeated reigning world champion Emma Firyana Saroji of Malaysia in the bronze-medal match, a remarkable result given the island has no indoor greens and its bowlers train on just two grass greens in Burnt Pine.
