Lesotho at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games
Lesotho finished in a tie for thirty-third at Glasgow 2026, the first Commonwealth Games staged with a reduced program of 10 sports. Lesotho won 2 bronze medals, ending a 20-year wait for a place on the Commonwealth Games podium.
Both bronzes came from the boxing ring: Pooana Khoahli reached the semifinals of the men's 65kg division, while Rapelang Maselela became the first female boxer in Lesotho's history to reach a Commonwealth Games semifinal, in the women's 57kg. Trivia
- Lesotho became members of the Commonwealth in 1966, and made their debut in the 1974 Commonwealth Games which were held in Christchurch, New Zealand.
- Since that debut, they have taken part in every Games apart from Brisbane in 1982.
- Lesotho won its first-ever medal in Kuala Lumpur in 1998 taking the gold in the men's marathon whilst a boxing silver in Manchester was the highlight of the 2002 Games for them.
