Jamaica is the third largest island in the Caribbean, situated south of Cuba and west of Haiti. Jamaica entered the Commonwealth in 1962 and have taken part in every Games since their debut in London in 1934 apart from 1930, 1938, 1950 and 1986.

Jamaica at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games

Jamaica finished eighth at Glasgow 2026, the first Commonwealth Games staged with a reduced program of 10 sports. True to its reputation as a sprinting powerhouse, Jamaica won 10 gold medals, along with 4 silver and 5 bronze for 19 medals in total. They won almost all of these medals on the track, where the island finished second only to Australia on the athletics medal table.
