Bangladesh at the Commonwealth Games
The People's Republic of Bangladesh, was formerly called East Pakistan.
- Bangladesh joined the Commonwealth in 1972 but did not make its first appearance at a Commonwealth Games until 1990 in Auckland, New Zealand, where they picked up a gold and bronze in the shooting.
- The second medal for Bangladesh came in their fourth Games, Manchester in 2002, with another gold in the shooting.
- Bangladesh has won a total of four Commonwealth Games medals, all coming in shooting events (prior to 2014)
