The Bahamas finished in a tie for twentieth at Glasgow 2026, the first Commonwealth Games staged with a reduced program of 10 sports. The Bahamas won 1 gold and 1 bronze for 2 medals in total, level on the medal table with Fiji and the Isle of Man.

Both medals came on the track, true to the nation's sprinting heritage. Devynne Charlton claimed gold in the 100m hurdles, and the Bahamas added a bronze in Judo. The final medal standings, with the Bahamas' placing, are shown below.

Trivia

  • Bahamas first attended the Commonwealth Games back in 1954 in Vancouver, Canada, though did not join the Commonwealth until 1973.
  • Since its inaugural appearance they have only missed the Games of 1974 and 1986, winning the vast majority of its medals in the sport of athletics.
