The men’s marathon at the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games in South Korea was won by Italian runner Gelindo Bordin. Here is a video of the last stages of the race, showing many of the top finishers crossing the line. It has an Australian commentary, so lots of references to their athletes, who came in 5th and 8th. World Cup 1990 Final – Germany defeats Argentina

A nicely edited highlight film of the final of the 1990 FIFA World Cup between West Germany and Argentina, won by the Germans 1-0. This was an ill-tempered game, notable for the first two sendings off in a World Cup final. West Germany won their third title with a late penalty by Andreas Brehme. Argentina also became the first team not to score in a World Cup Final.
