The men’s 100m at the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games was won by American sprinter Bobby Morrow in 10.5 seconds. This video is part of a documentary about Bobby Morrow, though the 100m race is shown at the start. See more on the History of the Olympics 100m sprint.

The Australian cricket squad follow a set national protocol, as seen in this video includes yo-yo endurance test, standing long jump, sprint and vertical jump test, probably more too.

From Salt Lake City in 2002 – Australians will remember these Games for the nation’s first-ever gold medal at Winter Olympics level – Steven Bradbury’s win in the short track speed skating when his rivals in the final all fell like nine pins. It appeared to be his plan all along, pity you don’t see his facial expression as he realizes he has done the impossible.
