NHL Entry Draft Combine Results
The annual NHL Entry Draft combine assessment involves interviews, medical screenings, and fitness tests over a four-day period. The combine has been held since 1993, though only the results from the most recent years have been made public. We have the top-10 results for the most important tests for the years 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2022 and 2023. There was no combine held in 2020 and 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic. There is also a summary of results from 2004, 2005 and 2006. No results from 2007 and 2008 have been found.
Below are some of the average and best results for the fitness assessments over the last 10 years. Only limited data has been published online, so the information is not complete. The information here has been retrieved from several sources, and may not be completely accurate. If you have any information to add or corrections to make, it will be very welcome (contact).

In 2015, the test was changed from being the number of reps at 150 lbs to the number of reps at 70-80% of body weight. In 2018 it was changed again, maximum power measured at 50% bodyweight.

In 2015, a new method of measuring vertical jump height was introduced. Previously a Vertec® apparatus was used, now they use a force plate. The recent scores are significantly lower.
