Bo Jackson Results
The star of the 1986 NFL combine was Bo Jackson. The two-sport super talented athlete weighed in at 6'1" and 230 pounds. It is reported that Jackson ran an unofficial hand-timed 4.12 in the 40-yard dash combine event.
Although his athleticism is undoubted, there are questions about whether he ran at the combine at all, and any times from that combine would not be as accurate as they are now, due to the use of hand timing compared to the modern electronic timing nowadays.
The best combine result since 1999 is 4.22 seconds by John Ross in 2017.
