Le Marathon des Chateaux du Medoc
The Marathon des Châteaux du Médoc is a unique long distance race held in the Médoc wine region of France, during September each year.
The course winds through picturesque vineyards, past iconic châteaux, and along scenic countryside roads. Runners are treated to wine tastings at various châteaux along the route.
The course is known for its festive atmosphere, with participants encouraged to dress up in costumes and enjoy the culinary delights of the Médoc, including oysters, cheese, and other gourmet treats served at aid stations throughout the race. It's a marathon experience unlike any other, combining sport, wine, and gastronomy in a celebration of French culture and tradition.
