Super Bowl 2008

The site of the 42nd Super Bowl in 2008 was decided at the owners' meetings in Chicago on Oct. 29-30, 2003. This Super Bowl was held at Glendale, Arizona on February 3rd, 2008. The game played in the brand-new Cardinals Stadium, that opened for the 2006 season. The telecast was provided by FOX TV.

This relatively low scoring game was won in the last quarter by New York Giants in a big upset 17-14.

The next Super Bowl was held in Tampa, Florida
