The 2007 Asian Cup was held in Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia, and was seen by an estimated 655 million television viewers. This was the first time more than one country co-hosted the event. The winner was Iraq who beat Saudi Arabia 1-0 in the final.
