Very few offshore books bother with the CFL. Rabona builds a proper board around it, and that alone made it worth seven days of my own money. This Rabona review sets that Canadian depth against the thing the brand won’t discuss: who owns it, and who licenses it.

  • We may earn a commission if you sign up through our links. This never affects our rating or findings, and we don’t accept payment for a higher score — read how we rate and test. This offshore sportsbook isn’t licensed in Canada. Legal betting age: 19+ in most provinces; 18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec. Please bet responsibly.
  • Testing ran from 10 September, with a funded account, settled bets and a completed withdrawal. Terms were verified against Rabona’s own pages on the day of writing and can change without notice, so read them again before you deposit.

Rabona Canadian Bonuses and Promotions

Three sports offers sit on the promotions page at any one time, and the one you want is chosen before a cent leaves your bank. Past the welcome match, the rewards shift towards coins, cashback and a tiered club rather than repeat matched deposits.

Welcome Bonus for Sports Betting

New accounts are matched 100% up to $150 on the first deposit. The offer rides along the top of the registration form as a banner with a dropdown, so switching to the crypto or casino version takes a single tap — and whatever you leave selected is what shows up in the cashier afterwards.

What makes it worth claiming is the turnover: 6x, not the 10x to 15x this market usually asks for. Read the funding rules first, though. Neteller and Skrill deposits are disqualified outright, so I went in with Interac and the bonus balance appeared alongside my cash.

There’s no Rabona promo code attached to the standard sports welcome bonus. Selecting the offer during registration is the whole mechanism. A separate field exists for codes picked up elsewhere, so don’t paste anything into it expecting the headline deal to improve.

Other Bonuses at Rabona CA

Rabona’s ongoing promotions are worth more to a regular bettor than the sign-up match is, and they slot into the wider pool of betting bonuses in Canada covered in our guide. All of them carry conditions that must be met before winnings can be withdrawn. These were running during my test:

  • Crypto Welcome Bonus — 100% up to 200 USDT, the alternative first deposit for coin-funded accounts.
  • Weekly Reload Bonus — 50% up to $750, resetting every week for funded accounts.
  • Bonus shop — real-money bets earn coins, and coins are spent on extra bonuses from an in-site store.
  • VIP club — tiered cashback, offers built around what you actually bet on, and a shorter queue at support.
Rabona's Sport promotions tab: the 100% up to $150 first deposit offer sits alongside the crypto and weekly reload bonuses.

Start with the footer, where a licence number normally lives. There isn’t one. No regulator, no company name, no registration number — the corporate identity behind Rabona in Canada is missing from every page I checked, terms included.

Searching outside the site doesn’t settle it. Tranello Ltd comes up repeatedly as the operator, which would put the brand under Curaçao licence No. 8048/JAZ, but the write-ups disagree with each other and none of it traces back to anything Rabona has published itself.

That matters beyond the principle of it. A licence number is what you quote when you escalate a complaint, and you cannot escalate to a regulator you can’t identify. Everything else on this page is a review of a sportsbook; this section is a review of a blank space.

None of which is to say the book misbehaved. Every bet I placed settled correctly, and the money I asked for arrived. The distinction only bites when a dispute starts, and I’ve costed that out below under What the Offshore Status Means for You.

Age rules apply regardless of where a book is based: 19+ through most of the country, 18+ if you’re in Alberta, Manitoba or Quebec. Bill C-218 made single-event wagering legal nationwide back in 2021, but each province writes its own rules on who may offer it. Prefer to stay inside that system? Our best Canadian sportsbook page ranks the regulated options, and there are further sportsbook reviews to compare against this one.

One question that comes up constantly: no, a recreational bettor doesn’t pay tax on winnings in Canada. The CRA treats them as windfalls rather than income. That changes only if betting is effectively your business, in which case profits can become taxable. Confirm with an accountant rather than with a review site if you’re near that line.

Rabona Sportsbook: Sports and Markets

36 sports is a large board by offshore standards, but the number matters less than where the depth sits. I ran the Rabona Sportsbook through the CFL, the Canadian Premier League, the NFL and the Premier League across a full week to find out where it holds up.

1.

Sports Markets

Thirty-six sports and north of 100 leagues, with domestic competitions promoted rather than buried: the CFL and Canadian Premier League sit on the front board next to the NFL, MLB, MLS and the Premier League. I rotated between all of them for a week and the pricing stayed live on every one.

2.

Is Cash Out Available?

Selected markets can be closed early for a reduced return. Bonus stakes are shut out of it, so anything funded by the welcome match has to run to settlement whatever the score does.

3.

Live Streaming

Streaming exists here, which is rarer offshore than it should be, and several eSports events pipe in from Twitch. Your bandwidth decides the experience: on a weak connection the video drifted behind the in-play prices, which is exactly when that lag costs you.

4.

Live Markets

Speed is fine — live betting in Rabona repriced fast enough that hesitating cost me a selection more than once. Breadth is the shortfall. A Thursday evening gave me just over 30 events running at once, where Cazeus Sport was carrying more than 100.

5.

Types of Bets

Thirty-plus options was the floor on almost everything I opened, and headline fixtures cleared 50: 1X2, totals, both teams to score, handicaps, and specials down to corners and cards.

6.

Odds Boosts

Boosts appear on a rotating set of markets. On the underlying prices, a Juventus match tested against Golisimo Sport came out split: Rabona better on the home win, a fraction worse on the draw and the away side. Competitive, never market-leading.

7.

Bet Builder

Singles, parlays and system bets are all available, the last of which is the useful one — it spreads a stake across combinations so a single wrong leg doesn’t wipe the slip.

8.

Does Rabona Have a Casino?

Yes, and it’s substantial: 8,500-plus titles with over 300 live tables, stocked by Playson, Yggdrasil, Amusnet and Spinomenal. Weigh it against our roundup of the best online casinos in Canada before you treat it as the deciding factor.

How to Register at Rabona from Canada

Two screens, three minutes, no verification wall in the way. Screen one wants an email, a password and two ticked boxes; screen two takes your name, date of birth and location, with Canada and the Canadian dollar pre-filled before you arrive. A PlayID option on the first screen skips the typing if you already hold one. Document checks come later — mine cleared in roughly 20 hours, well inside what I’d expect offshore.

  • Step one of sign-up: email, password and the consent boxes, with my chosen welcome bonus pinned to the top of the form.
  • Step two collects your personal details, with Canada and Canadian Dollar already filled in.

What the Offshore Status Means for You

Seven days of smooth betting proves the book works when nothing goes wrong. The value of regulation is the opposite scenario, so here is what you’re giving up in exchange for the account:

  • The operator is also the referee. A voided bet or a stalled payout is judged by Rabona’s own staff, and there is no authority sitting above their decision.
  • Your balance sits unsupervised. No regulator audits whether player funds are segregated or whether a closure request is honoured.
  • Self-exclusion stops at the border. Registering with a provincial scheme has no effect here, so the block you rely on elsewhere won’t cover this account.
  • Canadian marketing and credit rules don’t apply, and neither do the minimum standards for player-protection tools.

Playing at an offshore book isn’t an offence for you in most of Canada — the legal weight falls on operators, not bettors. The trade is protection, not legality, and deposits should be sized as though nobody is coming to help.

Is There a Rabona App Available?

Nothing to install — Rabona publishes no app to the App Store or Google Play. The workaround it documents is a home-screen shortcut, explained step by step for both Android and iPhone, which launches the site without browser furniture and passes for an app at a glance.

I ran it on both platforms and did most of my betting from an iPhone. Nothing about the mobile experience felt cut down: slips built cleanly, the cashier behaved, and the in-play board kept pace. Streaming was the one component that suffered away from a strong signal.

A shortcut still isn’t a replacement. Push alerts on price movement, biometric login and app-exclusive offers only come with a real download, which is why the best betting apps in Canada hold an advantage here.

Payment Methods in Rabona Sport

The payment methods in Rabona Sport split four ways: Interac, cards, e-wallets and crypto. I moved money in through Interac and out through a bank transfer to Royal Bank of Canada, and the amount I requested is the amount that landed.

The deposit list for Canadian accounts — Interac tops out at $9,000, with cards, e-wallets and crypto below it.

Customer Support at Rabona CA

Support at Rabona CA answers quickly and resolves slowly, and those are two separate measurements. Three channels are available, one of which I leaned on directly:

  • Help Centre — tiled by subject: bonuses, deposits, account verification, sportsbook rules and general queries.
  • Live chat — billed as 24/7, opening with a bot that passes you to a named agent.
  • Email — support@rabona.com, the right channel when you want the exchange on record.

A human named Remy was on my chat inside a minute, which beats most books I’ve tested. Then it stalled: a straightforward question about partial cash out ran past ten minutes, with a request to rephrase along the way. The Help Centre had nothing on it, so anything specific means waiting in chat.

Remy picked up my live chat in under a minute, but the partial cash-out answer took more than ten.

How Was My Experience With Rabona

This Rabona review for Canada covers seven days on a funded account, opened on 10 September. Registration ran three minutes, verification came back in about 20 hours, and $50 through Interac was usable straight away.

The betting held up. I stayed mostly on the Canadian Premier League, the CFL, the NFL and the Premier League, and 30-plus markets was the norm rather than the ceiling. Prices sat close to what Golisimo was showing, and the 6x rollover meant the welcome bonus was actually worth clearing instead of ignoring.

Two things wore on me. The first is the silence around ownership and licensing — nothing on the site, nothing consistent off it. The second is control: there is no way to set a deposit limit, so the only restraint available is your own. Support answered in under a minute but needed more than ten to resolve one question.

My withdrawal went by bank transfer to RBC and took four days, one longer than advertised, with nothing deducted. I’d bet here again. I’d also like to know whose site I was betting on.

A word of caution when you shortlist: offshore brands are often stablemates, and two sites from the same group will hand you the same odds and the same terms twice. Spreading your money across them isn’t the diversification it looks like.

Other Rabona Opinions in Canada

Had a little problem when one of my wins didn’t show up. Reached out to support and after a bit of waiting, they did sort it out and the money came through.

Faith on August 2025 (Trustpilot)

Ninety-nine percent of bets settled correctly, but had one tennis bet where the odds changed oddly. Support fixed it after I contacted them. Casino games work perfectly and withdrawals take 3-4 days. Still very good overall.

Sara Hatland on July 2025 (Trustpilot)

Everything works well now but my account verification took quite a few days to complete. Once approved, sports betting and casino both performed well. If Rabona pays attention to this, and offer faster onboarding, then it’d be 5 stars for sure.

Kelly Elliott on June 2025 (Trustpilot)

Responsible Gambling

One tool exists, and it’s the last-resort one. Self-exclusion is the entire toolkit, and it can’t be switched on from your account — a message to support is the only route in. Deposit caps, loss caps, session timers and reality checks are all absent from a site that takes money in seconds.

With no brakes built in, you supply your own: fix a weekly figure before you deposit, keep betting funds in a separate account, and treat a losing run as a reason to stop rather than to top up. Chasing is where the damage happens.

Rabona’s FAQs

Does Rabona accept players from Ontario?

Rabona carries no iGaming Ontario licence, which places it outside the province’s regulated market. Ontario bettors have licensed alternatives worth using instead — our best Ontario sportsbook rankings cover them.

How long do Rabona withdrawals take?

One to three days is what the site promises after KYC clearance. My bank transfer to Royal Bank of Canada arrived on day four, so treat the upper end as optimistic rather than fixed.

Does Rabona have a minimum bet?

It’s $0.15 — small enough that testing an unfamiliar market costs pocket change rather than a real stake.

Can I bet on the CFL at Rabona?

Yes, and it’s one of the reasons to look here at all — the CFL sits among the promoted leagues and I bet it through my whole test. Market selection and tactics are covered in our CFL betting guide.

Are Rabona’s odds competitive?

Close to the pack without beating it. Priced against Golisimo Sport on a Juventus fixture, Rabona paid better on the home win and slightly worse on the draw and the away result.

Is there a Rabona promo code?

None is required. You pick the offer you want during registration and it attaches to your first deposit automatically.
