Syria at the Olympics
Syria first competed at the Olympic Games in 1948, but not again until 1968. In 1960, a team comprising Syria and Egypt competed as the United Arab Republic. Since 1968 they have competed in all but the 1976 Games, when they were part of the African boycott.
